SALMAN, SHAH RUKH KHAN WAR OF WORDS CONTINUE

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan don't seem to be ready to bury the hatchet yet, to go by their comments at two different events on Monday.

Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and his wife Neeta organised a gala event last week to honour Sachin Tendulkar for scoring his 100th ton and invited several Bollywood stars, cricketers and politicians. From Aamir Khan to Salman to Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai - all big names from the film industry were present, but SRK was conspicuous by his absence.

At the party, praising Sachin, Salman said: "I hope record ye toot jaye...koi na koi isse tod de...main Aamir ka record bahutder se todney ki koshish kar raha hoon...toot hi nahin raha hai...
"Sachin ke record todna mushkil hi nahin namumkin hai...aur ye Don nahin main bol raha hoon. Aur bol bhi sakta hoon kyonki mera father (Salim Khan) ne likhi hai ye picture. Rights toh unhike paas ahin. Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) ne ki thi ye picture."

Reacting to this, Shah Rukh told reporters Monday: "I get numb by the kind of stories I keep hearing about myself. I try not to take them seriously or comment about them." SRK was speaking at the unveiling of customer campaign for season five of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Asked about this, Salman explained that his father wrote that line for Amitabh Bachchan and that he has every right to use it.

"Yes, I made the right comments. My father did not take any objection on that," he told reporters Monday while announcing his association with yatra.com.

'AMERICAN IDOL' NAMES TOP TEN FINALISTS

AFTER last week's suprise dismissal of Jermaine Jones, American Idol had only one contestant to send home to meet their quota for the final ten.

If you don't want to know who was eliminated, read no further! Following a night of songs from the year they were born, the remaining eleven hopefuls endured a tense hour of commentary from their Wednesday performances, punctuated by lively appearances from Demi Lovato and Daughtry.

In the end, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt and Shannon Magrane were designated as the bottom three and Shannon Magrane was given the unfortunate news that she did not make the but this week.

Although Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez were given the opportunity to use their one save on the 16-year-old singer, Shannon's rendition of the Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men ballad One Sweet Day failed to move the three enough to keep her in the running.

I DON'T WASH MY HAIR WITH SHAMPOO - Adele

Nigerian Star actor, Chidi Mokeme, who many knows to be a chronic bachelor and also a playboy is about to step up to another level in his life by getting married this month and hereby keeping the mouth of those who have been giving him labels shut.
